Successful show at ACHEMA 2006

ifu's products with good public interest

The leading exhibition on Chemical Engineering, Environmental Protection and Biotechnology from May 15 to 19 in Frankfurt/Main had more than 200.000 visitors. More than 30% of them were international visitors. ifu Hamburg GmbH had a successful presence at the ACHEMA 2006 fair.

The new product 'Sabento', that allows sustainability assessment of biotech processes in early stages of process design (http://www.sabento.com) received a lot of interest from representatives from industry and research. ifu has launched this new tool at the beginning of May and offers reduced subscription rates until the end of May.

Umberto, the software for material flow modeling, which is used in many producing industries to optimize processes and reduce costs, was highlighted with practical examples from chemical and semiconductor industries.

Visitors also showed lively interest in the services offered by ifu, such as material efficiency consultancy for SMEs and eco-efficiency analysis according to the BASF method.

Jan Hedemann, CEO of ifu Hamburg drew a positive balance at the end of the ACHEMA 2006 week. "We had a lot of interesting discussions at our stand, and could promote our compentece in providing Material Flow Analysis and Process Optimization solutions", he stated.
